Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

A comprehensive assessment of your current symptoms, history, needs, and goals that concludes with discussion of a preliminary diagnosis and recommendations for initial steps in treatment.  Medication options are usually a component of this discussion but other interventions are also important, including sleep habits, psychotherapy, or other behaviorally-focused options.  If appropriate, I am also happy to provide referrals for somatic interventions such as ECT, TMS, or ketamine.

70 minutes                  $500

Psychiatric Follow-up Visit

A visit for established patients to continue to assess your treatment response and progress, consider diagnoses as appropriate, and adjust medications and other interventions.

30 minutes                  $225

Brief Psychiatric Follow-up Visit

This visit type is available to patients who are well-established with stable diagnoses and treatment regimens who need to be seen at set intervals due to regulatory needs (for example, prescriptions for a controlled substance).  Eligibility for this visit type needs to be discussed with Dr. Reis prior to scheduling for the first time.

15 minutes                  $125

Extended Psychiatric Follow-up Visit

A visit for established patients who require extended time due to a significant event, an extended absence from care, or patient concerns requiring in-depth exploration and re-assessment.

50 minutes                  $375

Ongoing Psychotherapy

Dr. Reis is able to see a limited number of patients for regular psychotherapy visits; medication management can also be completed during these visits.  Frequency of appointments, anticipated duration of therapy, and cost per session will be discussed on an individual basis prior to embarking on a course of psychotherapy.
